Taraba: Heart-Broken Husband Cuts Off His Genital

A man cut off his genital when he realized he couldn’t handle break-up with his wife.

39 year-old Orsian Yusuf of Sabon gari Jalingo in Taraba State said he decided to cut off his genital because of persistent restlessness and sleepless nights caused by his wife’s departure and inability to see his 4-year-old daughter.

According to the man’s words, he also has not been able to get along with other women.

Now Yusuf is receiving treatment at the Federal Medical Centre Jalingo. His organ has been completely lost and cannot be replaced.

Speaking on the incident, Dr. Divine Njadze of the medical centre makes a suggestion that Yusuf might either be suffering from a psychiatric problem or may have carried out the act under the influence of alcohol or hard drugs.
