I Think Bieber's SUV May Have Killed My Son, and Fled

The woman whose son was killed while photographing Justin Bieber's Ferrari January 1 claims not one but TWO cars struck the photog. The second driver is wanted for felony hit-and-run and TMZ has learned the hit-and-run vehicle fits the basic description of an SUV in Bieber's entourage.

Bieber was NOT in the Ferrari. Lil Twist was behind the wheel when he was allegedly speeding on the 405, and a CHP officer pulled him off the Freeway. The deputy spoke to Twist and let him go, and then told photog Chris Guerra -- who was standing on the side of the road -- to get out of the area. As Guerra walked across the road, he was struck by a car, and shortly thereafter hit by a second vehicle.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ -- based on surveillance video and forensic evidence -- the second vehicle that struck Guerra was a black, high-profile SUV that was either a Range Rover or a Hummer.

Guerra's mom believes it's possible the SUV could have been someone from Bieber's camp either trailing the Fererari or coming to assist Twist. Cops are not embracing or discounting the mom's theory ... and the investigation is ongoing.

Guerra's mom wants the LAPD to show her the surveillance footage so she can see for herself, but they've told her it's an ongoing investigation so no dice.

We've contacted his camp for comment, but haven't heard back yet.

Kim Kardashian is so hot, she doesn't even need a coat in cold weather! The reality star, 33, left her outerwear at home when she stepped out with daughter North West in New York City on Tuesday, Nov. 26.

Rocking skinny jeans, open-toed heels, and a three-quarter-sleeved T-shirt, the first-time mom looked radiant as she pushed her 5-month-old baby girl in a stroller through Soho. Little Nori stayed warm and protected under a thick white baby blanket.

The mother-daughter outing comes just one day after Kardashian joined fiance Kanye West for his Hot 97 radio interview with Angie Martinez. During the sit-down, the blonde stunner gushed about what an "amazing" dad the rapper is to North.

"His face lights up when he is with our daughter," she said of the hip hop star. "He is the most amazing dad ever. It's really cute to see them together."

West, 36, was even more effusive when talking about his fiancee. "Y'all acting like this ain't the most beautiful woman of all time!" he exclaimed. "I'm talkin', like, arguably of human existence -- the top 10 of human existence."

Today was a fairy-tale for Taylor Swift. Fresh off her big win at the American Music Awards on Sunday, Nov. 24, the "I Knew You Were Trouble" songstress jetted off to London for the Nov. 26 Winter Whites Gala in Aid of Centrepoint, where she came face-to-face with a real, honest-to-goodness prince charming -- the Duke of Cambridge, Prince William. Defying the cold weather in a gorgeous crystal gown (and no coat), Swift walked the blue carpet outside Kensington Palace, which had been completely transformed for the evening's winter wonderland theme. (There was even imported snow!)

"Oh my God, this is so incredibly exciting to be performing at Kensington Palace," the "Red" singer told Us Weekly when she arrived. "With the snow, the lighting, the decorations, it's all so Christmas-y. It's kind of surreal, right? I'm at a palace!"

"I'm just soaking it all in. It's going to be a great night," she gushed. Asked whether she was nervous about performing for actual royalty, the country-pop superstar laughed and said, "I try not to think about that!" Later, after meeting Prince William, she exclaimed, "He's so funny!"

The 23-year-old Grammy winner previously told BBC Radio 2 how much she was looking forward to the gala. "I'm really excited," she said. "I'm really stoked. It's the first royal engagement I've done, and I'm very, very honored."

Other stars in attendance at the event include Michelle Dockery, Colin Firth, James Blunt, and Jon Bon Jovi, who is slated to perform with his band following the private dinner. After the concert, the Duke (who attended sans Kate Middleton) will present the New Jersey-born musician with the Centrepoint Great Britain Youth Inspiration Award for his humanitarian work with the Soul Foundation, which helps families and people in economic despair.

The Winter Whites Gala in Aid of Centrepoint benefits the homeless charity of which the Duke is a patron. He met several young people from the organization at a reception before the event.

Nice thought, but Brad Pitt may have to do without a heart-shaped island -- for now. Rumors that Angelina Jolie purchased a $19.7 million heart-shaped island for his 50th birthday are apparently false, Page Six reported on Tuesday, Nov. 26. See pics of the island here!

According to the New York Post, the stunning Petra Island -- about 50 miles north of Manhattan -- has yet to be purchased. Owners of the retreat apparently listed the huge piece of land four months ago, but no one has made an offer.

"I don't have any idea where that [report about Jolie] came from," Donna Massaro, daughter of owners Joseph and Barbara Massaro, told Page Six. "The family threw it out there to see if anyone was interested, and so far no [potential buyers] have [come forward]."

Jolie, 38, may not be purchasing a new getaway for Pitt (who turns 50 on Dec. 18), but she has shown her affection toward her soon-to-be hubby in other ways. "My love," she referred to Pitt, as she accepted the Humanitarian Award at the 5th Annual Governors Ball in Hollywood on Nov. 16. "Your support and guidance makes everything that I do possible." The couple was also joined by their 12-year-old son Maddox for the special occasion.

As for Pitt, the Hollywood hunk is currently still working on his new World War II film, Fury, in England, but is set to return to spend time with Jolie and their six children in the upcoming weeks -- even if the backdrop isn't a heart-shaped island. He will "go home" for the Christmas holidays, an insider tells Us Weekly.

Angola's government has denied it had banned Islam and closed mosques in the country, after media speculation that sparked outrage among Muslims worldwide.
"There is no war in Angola against Islam or any other religion," said Manuel Fernando, director of the National Institute for Religious Affairs, part of the ministry of culture, onTuesday.
"There is no official position that targets the destruction or closure of places of worship, whichever they are." Fernando told AFP news agency.
David Ja, a spokesman for local Muslims, challenged the government's account and said that a number of mosques had already been closed.
But according to the ministry of culture, those closures were related to a lack of necessary land titles, building licenses or other official documents.
A witness in the province of Uige (Carmona) told Al Jazeera that the closed mosques were hastility built by expatriate communities from west and north Africa who needed a place to perform Friday prayers.
“It’s true that several mosques have been destroyed and others simply shut down in the last few months. Most of the mosques that were destroyed were built without government permission. Two authorised mosques in Luanda are still operating without a problem. I have not heard of any official decision to ban Islam or prohibit Muslim prayers in mosques.” Ahmed ould Taher told Al Jazeera.
Worldwide media coverage
Reports that Angola, a traditionally devout Catholic nation, would crack down on Muslims had drawn condemnation from the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation and others.
In Egypt, mufti Shawqi Allam said such a move would be "a provocation not only to Angolan Muslims but to more than 1.5 billion Muslims all over the world".
The issue, which was first reported late last week, attracted huge media coverage worldwide and generated strong reactions on social media.
The controversy was further fueled by the government's poor communication on the issue.
The oil-rich southern African nation has a population of about 18 million people, several hundred thousand of whom are Muslims.
Religious organisations are required to apply for accreditation in Angola, which currently recognises 83, all of them Christian.
In October the justice ministry rejected the applications of 194 organisations, including one from an umbrella Islamic community group.
Angola's oil boom has attracted large expatriate communities from across the world.

BREAKING NEWS: Nigeria Islamic Fighters Kill Dozens Of Christians

Nigerian Christians have reportedly suffered much under recent violence.

Nigeria's troubled Christian community was plunged into mourning Wednesday, November 27, after the military confirmed that scores of Christians were killed in Nigeria's Plateau state by suspected Islamic gunmen.

Tuesday's attack was the latest unrest to hit the area gripped by a decade-long sectarian conflict, that has impacted especially Christians.

Local believers said the attacks on four heavily Christian villages started at 1 a.m. local time in the Barkin Ladi Local Government Area in Plateau State in central Nigeria.

They said ethnic Fulani herdsmen killed 37 people, injured many others and destroyed homes, the military’s Special Task Force spokesman, Salisu Mustapha, said.

"The attackers killed 13 people in Katu Kapang, eight in Daron, nine in Tul and seven others in Rawuru," he told reporters.

GUNMEN FLED

Mustapha said "the gunmen fled on sighting the arrival of the troops" and that the situation was now "under control."

Analysts say the mostly Muslim Fulani-Hausa group has been blamed for attacks on Christians from the Berom group. Berom leaders have accused the military of supporting and at times co-operating with the Fulani.

However critics say such allegations have not been proven.

The latest attack came amid reports that as many as 34 Christians were killed by fighters of the Islamic militant group Boko Haram, in Borno state, earlier this month.

ISLAMIC STATE

Boko Haram, or 'Western education is a sin', wants to establish an Islamic state in the country. It has created an atmosphere of hatred towards Christians, local observers say.

Nigeria's Plateau state, where Tuesday's attacks happened, lies in the country's "Middle Belt," the dividing line between the majority Christian south and majority Muslim north.

Several peace processes in Plateau have mostly failed to stop the violence, with deep mistrust persisting between the state's politicians and the security forces, commented the Arabic news channel Al-Jazeera.

Strange: Goat delivers mysterious creature in Ekiti farmstead

Olorioko farmstead of Ogotun community in Ekiti South-West Local Government Area of Ekiti State was a Mecca of sorts on Tuesday when news came from the community that a pregnant goat was delivered of a human-like kid in the morning.

The inhabitants of the farmstead, which is about five kilometres from Ogotun, told newsmen that the goat had been in labour since Monday night and could not deliver the kid as it was normal with animals.

The community leader, Chief Gani Adetomi, was said to have gone to his farm when newsmen called at his residence, but other members of the community said a man referred to as Pastor Daniel Odedele helped the nanny goat on Tuesday morning.

According to a member of the community, “Pastor Odedele was in Olorioko on a routine business visit when he saw a goat in labour.

“He watched the goat for a while and observed that ‘what this goat is about to deliver is not normal.’ He went to the goat, pulled the foetus from it and people who own the ‘kid’ raised the alarm which created the panic you’re seeing here today.”

The villagers told newsmen that the ‘kid’ had lived for only about one and a half hours, and had deflated by the time the journalists arrived in the community, saying “it was much bigger, and its human head and face as well as female human genitals were very prominent and pronounced.”

He said the incident would be reported to the traditional ruler of the town, the Ologotun of Ogotun-Ekiti, Oba Samuel Oyebade, and added that the farmstead would have to perform some ritual to appease the gods and to forestall calamity from befalling them.

Nigeria Sports Award: Moses Beats Mikel, Sunday Mba To Nigeria Footballer Of The Year Award!

Victor Moses was yesterday named the Nigerian Footballer of the Year, 2013. He was conferred with the honour by the Nigerian Sports Award. Moses defeated John Obi Mikel and Sunday Mba who were the other nominees for the award.

In an elaborate ceremony at the Muson Centre, Onikan, Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi was presented with the Nigerian Coach of the Year award while Perpetual Nkwocha of the Super Falcons won the female footballer of the year. Ball Sports Personality of the year award was won by Portugal based Nigeria table tennis international Aruna Quadri. He defeated Olumide Oyedeji and Ike Diogu, both of De Tigers. The President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Alhaji Aminu Maigari won the sports administrator of the year award.

He dedicated the award to every Nigerian. Blessing Okagbare won the Track and Field Star of the Year award while junior athlete Divine Oduduru won the discovery of the year award. Meanwhile, Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan of DeltaState also won the Sports Governor of the Year Award. Uduaghan who was present in the hall received the award and said the other nominees, Governors Liyel Imoke of CrossRiver and Babatunde Fashola of LagosState were equally winners.

”I am aware that all the other governors are equally doing a lot in terms of grassroots development. The way we are going, Nigeria will win at least one gold medal at the next Olympics,” an elated Uduaghan said. Mikel Obi however won the Sports man of the year award while Blessing Okagbare won the sports woman of the year award.

Reservation for three! Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were spotted taking out their 5-month-old daughter North West for dinner to Lorraine Schwartz's apartment in New York City on Friday, Nov. 22. The engaged couple were spotted leaving their place in downtown Manhattan with their sweet baby girl in tow. (Schwartz helped design Kardashian's massive engagement ring for West before his proposal at San Francisco's AT&T Park on her 33rd birthday on Oct. 21.)

For the family's special night out, Kardashian, 33, showed off her svelte, post-baby body in tight-fitting grey jeans and a matching grey t-shirt. She also wore her chestnut blonde locks down, and covered up with a leather jacket. West, 36, meanwhile, wore ripped jeans, a white t-shirt and a long tan coat. The protective dad carried North in her baby seat, who appeared to be all bundled up taking a pre-dinner nap. The couple enjoyed a Shabbat meal at Schwartz's home, and were also joined byKris Jenner.

Earlier in the day, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star was spotted without West taking North for a stroll in the same attire. Instead, she was joined by LaLa Anthony. The two best friends enjoyed a night out three days earlier at West's Barclays Center concert with Jenner, Jonathan Cheban, Lindsay Lohan and Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour on Tuesday.

Kimye have been spotted several times in NYC this past week amid the rapper's Yeezus concert dates. The couple -- who Us Weekly exclusively learned may televise their upcoming wedding -- were previously photographed together in matching outfits on Nov. 20. The two both rocked ripped blue jeans, a white t-shirt, and dark coats at the time.
