Like most major events in her life, the moment Kanye West popped the question to Kim Kardashian is caught on film! Unsurprisingly, so was her proposal from Kris Humphries!

As the video from YouTube founder Chad Hurley—who captured the moment with this collaborative video app called MixBit) shows, Kanye proposed to Kim at San Francisco’s AT&T Park on Oct. 21.

Kanye’s extravagant proposal featured everything—from her friends and family, to fireworks and the 50-piece orchestra playing Lana Del Ray’s “Young and Beautiful” to the moment Kanye proposes with the 15-carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond stunner.

With the words, “PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!” on the screen behind him—Kanye got down on one knee and asked Kim to be his wife.     

Kris’ proposal was a little more tame; he opted for her bedroom—rather than a giant baseball stadium—which he decorated with candles. Keeping with his mellow and intimate engagement, he politely asked, “Will You Marry Me?” in rose petals.

On comparable area was the ring; the sparkler, which was also designed by Lorraine Schwartz, was worth an estimated $2 million at the time; unfortunately, the ring’s sad fate was revealed last week when it sold at an auction for a reported $749,000.
